3 Weeks and a Few Days...

Well, Jackson has had an eventful week this week.  We had an outing with his Aunt Glyn - we went to my doctor's appointment, then to the Galleria, and then to Panera Bread.  Panera was a bit much for him so we had to cut our lunch short.  Overall, he was wonderful.  At the doctor's visit, I was released to drive but still have to take it easy.  Did I listen to the doctor?  Of course not!  I overdid it and ended up having to deal with some unnecessary pain in my stomach for several days.  Needless to say, I am taking it easy from here on out.  Jackson and I took our first trip out alone and went over to Granny and Granddaddy's for dinner.  He did very well until the ride home.  I decided that when he was fed he didn't get burped enough so nothing a little Mylicon didn't take care of in a few seconds.  So, the rest of the ride home was pleasant.  On Wednesday, mother brought Jackson over to the school so he could show off to all my colleagues.  We were going to take a shopping trip that day but I didn't feel well so we ended up back home.  On Thursday, mother and I took him to Brookwood Mall, the Galleria, Target, and to Granny and Granddaddy's for dinner.  He was wonderful!!!  Today, Jackson and I took a trip out by ourselves again to the school so that I could go to work and do a couple of things.  He was great!!  This week he turned 3 weeks old and was able to have his first bath - I have posted some pictures below.  Not sure what next week will hold but I know that he will be turning a month old - oh my goodness how time flies by so fast!!!
